Who can do thisWorkspace owners
Infyva only lets people sign in with SSO when their email address is on a domain your workspace has verified. You verify a domain once, with a DNS TXT record.
Add and verify a domain
In the sidebar, click Settings, then Single sign-on.
Under 2 Verify your email domain, type the domain, for example
northwindlabs.com, and click Add domain. The domain appears with the badge Waiting for DNS.Copy the Name and the Value shown under it with their Copy buttons.
At your DNS provider, add a record:
Field What to enter Type TXTName or host The Name from Infyva: _infyva-verification.northwindlabs.com. Some DNS providers add your domain for you; then enter only_infyva-verification.Value or content The Value from Infyva: infyva-domain-verification=followed by 32 letters and numbersTTL Your provider's default Back in Infyva, click Check now. When the record is found, the badge changes to Verified and you see <domain> is verified.
If you see We couldn't find the TXT record for <domain> yet., wait a few minutes and click Check now again. Infyva looks the record up on public DNS, so a record that only exists on your internal DNS is not found. The same value published on the domain itself, instead of the _infyva-verification name, also works.
You can leave the record in place after verification.
Rules
- Up to 10 domains per workspace. Add each domain your team's email addresses use, for example a main domain and an acquired company's domain.
- Personal email domains such as
gmail.com,outlook.com,yahoo.comoricloud.comcan't be used. - A domain can belong to one Infyva workspace only. If another workspace already verified it, you see One of these domains is already used for SSO by another workspace. Contact support@infyva.ai if that domain is yours.
- Subdomains are separate domains.
uk.northwindlabs.comneeds its own record if people's addresses use it.
Remove a domain
Click Remove next to the domain and confirm. People on that domain can no longer sign in with SSO. If you remove the last verified domain, Infyva turns SSO and Require SSO off.
