Who can do thisOwners, admins and recruiters
A job holds everything for one role: its candidates, its interview questions, its settings and its reports. Every plan has unlimited jobs. A job title and a job description are enough to start. Infyva reads the description and drafts the interview questions from it.
Create the job
- In the sidebar, click Jobs.
- Click Create job.
- Optional: under Start from a template, pick a role such as Senior Backend Engineer or Customer Success Manager. The template fills in the name, description and skills, and you can change all of them.
- Enter the Job Title. It needs at least 3 characters.
- Paste the Job Description. It needs at least 50 characters. The more detail it has about skills and responsibilities, the better the questions and the resume matching.
- Click Create job.
The job opens on its Candidates tab. New jobs start as a draft and ask every candidate the same set of questions. See Set up interview questions.
Add the optional details
Click Advanced settings on the form before you create the job to set these. All of them are optional.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Job Name | The name your team sees in Infyva. If you leave it empty, the job title and the month are used, for example "Senior Backend Engineer (Oct 2026)". |
| Required Skills (comma-separated) | The skills questions and resume matching focus on. |
| Team / Department | Groups the job with a team. |
| Experience level | Any level, Entry level, Mid level, Senior, Lead or Executive. |
| Min experience (years) and Max experience (years) | The experience range you are looking for. |
| Hiring managers | People who review candidates for this job. They don't need an Infyva account. |
For each hiring manager, enter a Name and Email, choose When to notify (Important only (recommended), Daily digest or No auto-delivery) and set the Auto-flag threshold (75 by default). Click + Add hiring manager to add another. See Send candidates to a hiring manager.
Activate the job
A draft job is not listed on your careers page. When you are ready:
- Open the job.
- Click Activate at the top of the page.
The job is now active. Drafts appear on your careers page once you activate them.
Find your way around a job
Every job has four tabs:
| Tab | What is on it |
|---|---|
| Candidates | Everyone in the job, the stage they are in, their resume match and their interview. See Pipeline stages. |
| Insights | How the job is going. |
| Sourcing | Rediscover people you already know and import candidate lists. See Talent pool and rediscovery. |
| Settings | Questions, Interviewer, Vibe coding and Job settings. See Interview settings. |
The More job actions menu at the top has Try it as a candidate, Edit job, Job settings, Preview questions, Export CSV, Close job, Archive and Delete job. Only the job's owner or a workspace owner or admin can close, archive or delete a job.
Try your own interview
Try it as a candidate runs a short version of the job's interview for you: 3 questions, with a report badged Self-test. It doesn't use a credit and isn't counted in analytics, exports or Compare. You can run 2 self-tests a month.
