Who can do thisOwners, admins and recruiters
Hiring managers open candidates from private links. There are two kinds: a review link, to make a decision, and a view-only link, to read the report again later.
The two kinds of link
| Link | What it does | How long it works |
|---|---|---|
| Review link | Opens the report and lets the hiring manager record one decision. It works once and is made for one hiring manager. | 14 days |
| View-only link | Opens one report, read only, for the hiring manager it was sent to. No decisions. | 30 days |
Every send-to-hiring-manager email has both: the review link, and Read the report again later (view only, 30 days). The daily digest uses view-only links for hiring managers who don't have an account in your workspace.
Links are logged. Opening a review link and every decision are recorded in your audit log with the hiring manager's email.
What the hiring manager sees
The page shows your logo and company name on plans with branding, or the Infyva mark on Starter. At the top it says Decision support, not a decision. Nova's score is one signal.
The hiring manager sees:
- The score and band, or Held for a person to review. Read the transcript before deciding. for a held report.
- Your Note from the recruiter, if you added one.
- Summary and Suggested next step. Older reports show Recommended next step with Against the role bar, Risk and integrity and What would change this instead.
- Strengths, Concerns and Probe in the next round.
- The Scorecard, and the Skill shape on plans with the skill radar.
- Integrity: the checks and their results.
- The Answers or the Conversation, with recordings. Recording links expire after 15 minutes; reloading the page gets new ones.
A view-only link also says This link is for you only, so please don't forward it.
What the hiring manager can decide
On a review link, under Your decision:
- They choose Advance, Send back or Reject.
- They can add an Optional note for the recruiter.
- They click Submit decision.
The decision is logged with their email and the time. The candidate moves to match:
| Decision | What happens |
|---|---|
| Advance | The candidate moves forward in the job. |
| Send back | The candidate goes back to your team to review. |
| Reject | The candidate is rejected, and any interview they haven't started is cancelled. |
Your team is notified. A hiring manager can't reject a candidate while that candidate has an open accommodation or human-review request.
A decision can't be changed from the link
Each review link records one decision. If the hiring manager opens it again, they see This link has already been used. To change a decision, they ask you, and you move the candidate yourself.
Turn off a hiring manager's links
The job's owner or a workspace owner or admin can turn links off.
Review links:
- Open the candidate's drawer.
- On the Hiring manager review card, click Revoke next to the hiring manager.
This turns off every review link that hiring manager has for that candidate, including ones they haven't opened. The link no longer opens the review.
View-only links:
- Open the job, open the More job actions menu and click Edit job.
- Under Hiring managers, find View-only report links. Links are grouped by hiring manager.
- Click Revoke next to a link. When a manager has more than one link, you can click Revoke all for this manager.
A turned-off view-only link says The recruiter turned this link off. Ask them for a new one if you still need it.
View-only links also stop when you remove the hiring manager from the job, or when a newer report replaces the one they point to.
