The daily digest

Who can do thisOwners, admins and recruiters set it up

Some hiring managers prefer one summary a day to an email per candidate. The daily digest gives them that.

Turn on the digest for a hiring manager

  1. Open the job, open the More job actions menu and click Edit job.
  2. Under Hiring managers, set that person's delivery menu to Daily digest.
  3. Click Save.

You can also choose Daily digest under When to notify when you create the job. See Send candidates to a hiring manager.

When it is sent

The digest goes out once a day at 13:00 UTC. It covers the last 24 hours.

Each hiring manager gets one digest a day, covering every job in your workspace where they are set to Daily digest. If there is nothing new, no email is sent.

If you added a Slack or Teams webhook for the hiring manager, the digest goes there too.

What is in it

The subject line gives counts only, never names or scores: Your hiring digest: {summary}.

SectionWhat it lists
Interviews completedUp to 5 finished interviews, each with Score N/100 and the band. A held report shows Insufficient evidence.
Waiting on your reviewUp to 5 candidates waiting for the hiring manager's decision.
New candidatesUp to 8 new candidates with their resume match score.

If the hiring manager has no account in your workspace, each View report link opens that one report, read only, for 30 days. The email asks them not to forward it, because the link was made for them. If they do have an account, the links open the reports in the app after they sign in. See Review and view-only links.

Stop or change the digest

There is no unsubscribe link for hiring managers. The digest footer tells them to ask the recruiter to update their report delivery on the job.

To stop it, change their delivery on the job to Important only or No auto-delivery, or remove them from the job.
