Held reports
Available onEvery plan
Sometimes an interview doesn't give enough evidence for a fair score. Instead of showing a number that could mislead, Infyva holds the report for a person to review. Its next step reads Insufficient evidence, needs human review.
What a held report looks like
- The header shows Insufficient evidence instead of a score, with Held for a person to review. Read the answers before deciding.
- The band is never higher than Limited evidence, and no screen uses advance wording for it.
- Compare shows Held: no score. The hiring manager page, email and daily digest say Held for a person to review. Read the transcript before deciding.
- The skill radar, where your plan has it, reads as provisional.
A held report is not a bad result. It means the evidence was too thin to judge either way.
When a report is held
A report is held when the evaluation marks it for human review or finds the evidence insufficient for a recommendation. For Live AI interviews, these rules hold a report:
| Reason | What it means |
|---|---|
| Too few competencies covered | The conversation covered fewer than half of the planned competencies. The report says, for example, The interview covered 2 of 6 planned competencies, too few for a recommendation. A person should review the transcript. |
| Too few answers scored | Fewer than half of the candidate's turns could be scored. |
| Repeated or recited answers | The answers repeated each other or read like a script. |
What to do with a held report
- Open the report and read the answers or the transcript.
- Listen to the recording for the parts that matter to you.
- Make the decision yourself from the Decision bar. See Read a report.
If you think the report is wrong, email support@infyva.ai. See Retry and re-grading.
