Who can do thisOwners, admins and recruiters
When a resume comes in, Infyva reads it against the job and gives it a match score from 0 to 100 with a short reason. You use the score to sort candidates, and you can invite high scorers automatically. The score is a starting point for your review. It never rejects anyone.
What each plan includes
| Starter | Pro and Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Match score from 0 to 100 | Yes | Yes |
| Sort candidates by score | Yes | Yes |
| A short reason for the score | Yes | Yes |
| Full ranking: the part-by-part breakdown, score filters and Worth checking | No | Yes |
| Compare candidates side by side | No | Yes |
| Pipeline analytics | No | Yes |
The scoring method is the same on every plan. Parts your plan doesn't include stay visible in the app, greyed out, with a badge naming the plan that has them. See Features not on your plan.
Turn scoring on for a job
Scoring is on by default for new jobs.
- Open the job and click Settings > Job settings.
- Under Resume screening, check that Score resumes on upload is on.
- Set the Minimum resume score. Candidates at or above it count as Eligible. The default is 60.
- Click Save settings.
Scores apply to resumes that arrive after scoring is on: uploads, single candidates with a resume, and careers page applications with a CV.
How the score is built
The AI reads the resume against the job description, its required skills and its experience level to score skills and experience. Education and role progression are scored from the resume's history. The four parts combine like this:
| Part | Weight |
|---|---|
| Skills match | 45% |
| Experience relevance | 35% |
| Education fit (certifications count here) | 10% |
| Role progression | 10% |
The experience level sets the years the score expects: entry 0, mid 2, senior 5, lead 8 and executive 12, unless the job sets its own minimum.
The method is the same on every plan.
When the AI can't read a resume
- If the AI is unavailable, Infyva compares the resume's skills with the job's required skills instead. The score is labelled Keyword match, with the note "This is a keyword comparison, not an AI assessment."
- If the resume can't be analysed at all, the candidate gets a score of 30, labelled Not scored, with "Unable to fully analyze resume. Manual review recommended." Read these resumes yourself.
Read a candidate's resume match
Click a candidate on the Candidates tab to open their details. The Resume tab shows Resume match: the score and a short reason. On every plan you can sort the Candidates tab by this score.
On Pro and Enterprise, the tab also shows the full breakdown:
- Bars for Skills, Experience, Education and Progression.
- Worth checking: points to ask about.
- Profiles: links found on the resume, such as a code-hosting profile with its repository count or a portfolio. Infyva doesn't scrape social profiles.
- Resume integrity: patterns such as gaps, very short jobs, overlapping dates or skills claimed without support, and text in the resume aimed at the screener.
A candidate with no score shows Not scored yet.
Rank and filter candidates
On the Candidates tab, use the toolbar filters:
- Resume match: 80 and up, 70 and up, 60 and up or 50 and up.
- Tag, Integrity, Profile and Report.
Switch between List and Board views. See Pipeline stages.
Invite high scorers automatically
With this on, a candidate whose resume reaches the score you set gets the AI interview invite straight away, with no person reviewing first. It only sends invites: nobody is rejected or moved back, and everyone below the score waits for your team.
- Open the job and click Settings > Job settings.
- Under Resume screening, make sure Score resumes on upload is on.
- Turn on Invite high scorers automatically.
- Read the notice and tick I understand, and my company takes responsibility for these rules.
- Set Auto-invite at score. The default is 85.
- Optional: turn on Auto-invite careers applicants. It is off by default because anyone can apply on a public page with any email address.
- Click Save settings.
Each automatic invite holds 1 credit. Applicants without a CV are never invited automatically.
Automated decision laws
Inviting on a score alone can make this an automated employment decision tool under NYC Local Law 144 for New York City roles, which then needs a bias audit and a candidate notice. Similar laws may apply elsewhere. Your company is responsible for meeting them. Leave this off if a person should review every invite. See Compliance tools.
