Compare candidates ​

Available onProEnterpriseand the Pro trial

Compare puts finished interviews side by side: scores, bands, competencies, integrity and the strengths and concerns from each report. You can mix AI interviews and Live AI interviews.

Compare candidates ​

  1. In the sidebar, click Reports.
  2. Click Compare candidates.
  3. Under Choose candidates to compare, tick two or more candidates. Candidates for the same job are listed first and give the fairest view.
  4. Click Compare {n} candidates.

You can pick up to 10 candidates. The page shows Up to 10 candidates. {n} picked.

You can also start from a report: click Compare at the top of the report.

What the comparison shows ​

The top line shows how many candidates you picked and their Average, Highest and Lowest score.

Each candidate gets a column, ranked by overall score with the highest first. Up to 4 columns show at a time; scroll sideways for the rest. Each column has:

  • The rank and name. Live AI interviews carry a Live AI chip and the call length.
  • The score and band. A held report shows Held: no score and Insufficient evidence. See Held reports.
  • The integrity summary.
  • A bar for each competency. The highest score in each competency is in bold.
  • Strengths and Concerns.
  • Open report, to read the full report.

AI scores are decision support. A person makes the hiring decision.

Comparing different formats

AI interviews and Live AI interviews are both scored against the job's competencies, but the formats differ: Live AI asks follow-up questions. Read the reports before ranking across them.

If Compare is locked ​

Compare is on Pro and Enterprise. On Starter, Compare stays visible in the app but greyed out, with an Available on Pro badge. Click it to see the plans. If you open the Compare page anyway, it shows Compare candidates side by side with See plans. See Plans and pricing.
